An alternative to financial membership

unturf runs on eight forms of capital. Financial capital represents one of eight. Domain expertise, intellectual capital, or an enterprise to build: all qualify. You can earn solo-level unlimited access without a financial contribution.

This takes real contribution, not a giveaway. The bar rises as you level up; at high enough levels, your enterprise connects directly to unturf's children as a partner via machine learning tools.

Note on curriculum protection: Unregistered visitors face a limit of one lesson per month. This limit prevents wholesale curriculum extraction by parties who contribute nothing to the mission. Entrepreneur track removes this limit because contributors, by definition, give something back.

Four Levels

Level 1

Seed

You have an idea. You have domain depth. You have identified a gap.

Prerequisite: Complete the two required Unit 1 activities (kanban & eight forms of capital).

What we ask: Write a one-paragraph description of your enterprise — what problem it solves, who holds the specification, and what an ML tool would do between your enterprise & one of unturf's children.

What you get: Unlimited nu & un access (solo tier). Enrollment in the entrepreneur cohort.

No financial capital required at this level.

Level 2

Grower

You have shipped something. A tool, a lesson set, a service, an open seed: something real that other people can use.

What we ask: Submit a working artifact: a lesson YAML, a deployed tool, a documented API, or a contribution to an existing unturf child entity. Must work for others, not just a prototype.

Early access to new child entities as they launch.

Level 3

Operator

Your enterprise runs. It has users. It closes a real gap. Machine learning tools mediate between your enterprise & at least one unturf child entity.

What we ask: Demonstrate an active ML bridge between your enterprise & an unturf child — a working integration, not a plan. Show it closing a real gap for real users.

Co-billing eligibility & direct communication channel with unturf operators.

Level 4

Partner

Your enterprise operates as a node in the unturf network. Machine learning tools connect it to other children. You bring your own enterprise, unchanged, & the network grows by one triangle.

What we ask: Sustained operation at Level 3 + a demonstrated machine learning bridge to at least two unturf children. Your enterprise should sustain itself.

Partners remain solos. Partnership creates no human-to-human reporting relationship. Machine learning tools mediate between enterprises, not people.

Structure underneath this

Every level of this track builds around the machine learning triangle: one pair of humans with complementary specifications, one machine learning engine, one problem to close. You bring your spec. unturf's children hold theirs. Machine learning bridges the gap.

Scale comes from multiplying triangles, not from adding headcount or hierarchy. A Level 4 partner adds one triangle to the network. Ten partners add ten. Each operates independently.
